Description

Activities assistant will assist with daily activities, monthly events. Must be able to run activities assigned for the day on your own especially on the weekend, teach/assist resident of activity rules, set up equipment and supplies and supervise activities to increase enjoyment and bring meaning to their daily life. This includes but not limited to reading newspapers, magazines, and daily devotions each day and also lead exercise group. Assist residents to and from activities, and chart daily activities. Spend individual time with resident to ensure their social and recreational needs are being met. Activity Assistant Certification and experience with elderly is preferred but not required.

Starting base wage is $16.50 per hour. $17.00 per hour after 60 days

Positions include every other weekend and you make an additional $1.00 per hour shift differential when you work on a weekend.

Earn Paid Personal Leave (vacation/sick pay) based on the hours you work (available even if you work part-time)
