We currently have an open position for a Certified Nursing Assistant at our Bixby Knolls Towers located in Long Beach, CA 90807.

JOB DUTIES:

This position is responsible for the provision of routine daily care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, as directed by the Charge Nurse and/or Director of Nurses.

Summary of Duties:

- Provide or assist residents with activities of daily living including but not limited to

feeding, bathing, dressing and undressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.

- Assist residents with positioning of correct and comfortable position.

- Monitor resident change of condition and report changes to Charge Nurse.

- Keep residents dry by changing gowns, linen, etc., when it becomes wet or soiled.

- Assist residents with bowel and bladder functions by taking to bathroom, offering

bedpan, portable commode, etc.

- Routinely check with residents to ensure that care needs are being met in

accordance with care plan.

REQUIREMENTS:

Necessary Qualifications:

- Certified Nursing Assistant Certification

- First Aid Certification

- Working experience in Skilled Nursing setting preferred
