Description

Calimesa Post-Acute is currently seeking talented full time and part time CNAs to join our nursing team! We are searching for a dedicated, compassionate and energetic individuals to be a vital link between our patients and the nurses and other facility staff.

CNAs at Calimesa Post-Acute are responsible for administering the day to day care to patients regarding their health and wellness, ensuring compliance with established company and regulatory guidelines and procedures to provide high quality treatment services and outstanding patient care. Participates in the implementation of company initiatives and strategies, ensures compliance with all pertinent company policies and regulatory requirements.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Assisting patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Vitals. This includes delivering meals to patients, turning and ambulating patients and providing plenty of fresh water as well as extra nourishment between meals.

Helping patients with personal hygiene. Providing and assisting residents with assistance for all basic grooming needs.

Answer call lights in a timely manner to ensure patients needs are met

Transfer patients%u2019 in-between bed and wheelchairs as needed

Check and record vitals daily and in accordance with state requirements.

Adhere to professional standards, follow policies and procedures and abide by federal, state and local requirements, as well as company policy.

Coordinating schedules for residents requiring rehabilitation therapy

Receiving and escorting visitors

Maintaining linens, supplies, and equipment

Requirements:

Excellent customer service and people skills (including one-on-one interaction and group environment)

Proven organization and attention to detail

Demonstrated computer skills

Current Certified Nursing Assistant CNA License

High School Diploma or GED

Valid First Aid and CPR Certification

OIG/ Background clearance

Calimesa currently has openings for AM, PM, and NOC Shifts at full time and part time statuses.

Full time positions will be eligible for full benefits including medical, dental, vision, vacation, paid holidays etc.
