Description

Provides routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the care plan of each resident based on established nursing care procedures and at the direction of supervisor. Ensures resident's needs are maintained with highest degree of dignity. Performs comprehensive resident care duties including but not limited to bathing, taking vital signs, changing linens, properly positioning residents and giving AM and PM care. Documents objective information related to resident care in a clear, complete and timely manner. Maintains unit in an orderly fashion. Previous Nursing Assistant experience providing direct care to multiple patients/residents preferred; previous experience in Skilled Nursing environment desirable. Completion of certification program and Maintenance of current unencumbered certification required. Current valid CPR certification strongly preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.
