Description
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent, kitchen experience but not mandatory
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Ability to follow oral and written communications and to prepare and serve attractive palatable foods. Read and understand recipes, menus, and time schedules. Knowledge of use and care of common kitchen equipment. Can work cooperatively with staff, residents, family, and administration.
Body Positions: Sitting, standing, squatting and stooping
Body Movements: Walking, lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, bending and reaching is required in the accomplishment of tasks. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Body Senses: Use of vision and hearing in communicating
Language: Ability to communicate in English, both in writing and verbally.
Working Conditions: Non-smoking environment.
