We currently have an open position for a Director of Staff Development at our Auburn Ravine Terrace located in Auburn, CA.

JOB DUTIES:

As the skilled facility's Director of Staff Development your duties will include but not be limited to: maintaining training compliance of the facility staff in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, provide group and individual inservices on required and facility specific topics; maintain training records of all healthcare and applicable facility employee required training; submit required reports to local, state, federal, and corporate entities; provide orientation training to new employees; assist the facility's Infection Preventionist in the fulfillment of required IP compliance; in the absence of the facility's IP take the lead role in fulfilling required IP duties and requirements; participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of relevant QAPI/QA studies and associated PIP's; assist in the development of facility specific policies, procedures, and protocols; develop emergency response scenarios and inservices; participate as needed in IDT meetings; act in a supervisorial role of the facility%u2019s CNA staff, assisting with scheduling and evaluation of CNA staff, and occasional direct patient care as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

The DSD position requires a current, valid, LVN or RN license and certification as a DSD via a state approved program. The facility will consider sponsoring the successful candidate who lacks the DSD certificate provided they meet all other criteria for employment inclusive of a minimum of one year's experience as a licensed nurse and other work related experience.

This is a Full-Time position.
