Description
The Dietary Aide provides assistance in the kitchen area prior to, during and after meal service. They may deliver and/or retrieve items to/from various locations within the facility. The aides may set-up, serve and breakdown different dining room areas as directed by the Food Service Director. The dietary aides assist in preparing resident trays; deliver and return food carts; prepare and deliver all between meal nourishment; help with salad and and dessert preparation; assist with the pouring of juices; clean and maintain all work areas in the kitchen; wash all pots and pans; operate the commercial dish machine; remove trash from the kitchen; perform other related duties as required; and must be able to complete all tasks in a timely manner.
