Eden Home Health is looking for a Registered Nurse Executive Director/Administrator to join our growing team in the Sacramento area.

The Executive Director/Administrator organizes and directs the agency's day-to-day operations, keeping the agency in compliance with state, federal and accrediting body regulations. This position employs qualified staff and provides adequate staff education and evaluation. The ED is responsible for an effective budgeting and accounting systems and assists in the development and implementation/execution of policies and procedures.

Essential Functions:

- Responsible for overall clinical and financial operations

- Ensure effective and efficient training is completed for all staff and manages performance, provides coaching/guidance

- Meets regularly with senior management, clinical management and the professional advisory committee (PAC) of the agency

Interprets and implements policies for guidance to staff, patients, referral sources, etc.

- Responsible for creating and implementing an effective, comprehensive marketing and business development plan for the agency to include, but not limited to:

- Hiring of qualified account representatives/sales liaisons

- Referral source growth and retention

- Community outreach programs/in-services

- Census, admissions and payer mix as per budget

- Plans, coordinates, directs and controls the operations of the agency

- Supports and maintains a culture of safety and quality

- Meets or exceeds budget on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis

- Keep abreast of industry changes/trends and regulatory requirements through state associations, courses, etc.

Qualifications:

- California RN license required

- Bachelor%u2019s Degree of equivalent

- Minimum 5 years Home Health experience required

- 3 years operations management experience required

- Kaiser diversion experience preferred

- Experience with budgetary/financial statements

- Outstanding leadership/managerial skills

- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and execution
