We currently have an open position for a Housekeeper at our Colonial Heights & Gardens located in Florence, KY.

JOB DUTIES:

Colonial Heights and Gardens, a not for profit retirement community located in Florence, Kentucky, is seeking a competent, reliable and caring individual for this very important position. A positive attitude and a genuine willingness to serve senior adults, in a compassionate manner, is an absolute must.

This position will be responsible for cleaning rooms and halls within the retirement community. Essential duties include but are not limited to: laundry, bed making, furniture moving, empty and discard of trash, replenish bathroom supply, etc.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Work environment could include exposure to wet and/or humid conditions and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

This is a Full-Time position.
