Description

We are searching for dedicated, hard-working and energetic individuals to be a part of our Team. The Housekeeper/Janitor is a valuable part of our team which performs housekeeping and cleaning activities within well established guidelines to keep the facility in a clean and orderly condition.

Qualifications:

Ability to read, speak and understand English

Ability to follow and complete directions and tasks in a timely manner

Ability to maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance

Responsibilities:

Follows cleaning schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, etc,) as outlined for housekeeping department

Cleans assigned areas, furnishings, fixtures according to established housekeeping procedures

Performs emergency housekeeping where accidents occur

Performs terminal cleaning duties according to established procedure in patient rooms when patient has been discharged or transferred, and prepares room for new occupant

Maintains equipment used in performing duties

Maintain regular attendance as necessary and essential to job function
