Lutheran Home of Southbury, 120 bed facility (located near I-84) has a great full time, part time and per diem positions available in our Housekeeping/Laundry department.
Responsibilities include;
%u2022Maintain cleanliness of the laundry room/resident rooms and equipment.
%u2022Operate all laundry equipment ensuring that lines, towels, sheets and personal clothing are washed, dried, folded and distributed to our residents.
%u2022Ability to observe proper safety and sanitary techniques.
%u2022Ensure the highest degree of cleanliness and sanitation at all times meeting the resident's needs.
%u2022Follow state and federal regulations ensuring that infection control policies and procedures are met.
%u2022Ability to read and understand English including labels and safety instructions.
%u2022Ability to carry up to 50 lbs.
