Core responsibilities for the Human Resource Director position include:
Facilitates and oversees human resources functions such as recruitment, new hire orientation, performance reviews, employee relations, and training/education initiatives.
Manages employee electronic/paper files and ensures compliance with employment and public health guidelines.
Supports/advises managers regarding hiring/employment status decisions, employee relations issues and assists with any necessary investigations
Responds to inquiries regarding company policies, procedures, and programs.
Supports/collaborates with management on employee retention/morale initiatives
Supports/collaborates with accounting in payroll administration(PayCor and Time on Demand)
Acts as a resource for all employees.
Requirements:
Previous Human Resources experience (5 years)
Demonstrated leadership skills, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
Strong attention to detail
Interview/recruitment skills
Computer skills: Pay Cor or equivalent, basic Excel, Word, Outlook
Strong preference for experience in the long-term care setting and working in the mental health field with mentally ill residents in a human resources capacity and knowledge/understanding of related policies/procedures.
