Asbury Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Sacramento is seeking Licensed Vocational Nurses %u2013 LVNs to join our team!
Our LVN %u2013 Licensed Vocational Nursing team provides nursing care to our patient population for our primary and specialty care physicians. Our LVN Nurses works closely with our physicians to ensures a smooth patient flow and clinic operation. LVN Nurses are responsible for medication passing or administering medication, observing change of condition, making assessments, managing CNA%u2019s etc%u2026 Our Licensed Vocational Nurses will also document care in our electronic medical record and administers medications and screening exams.

Qualifications:
%u2022 Completion of a recognized Vocational Nursing Program and continuing education; AND;
%u2022 Possession of a current license to practice vocational nursing in the State of California, which must be maintained throughout employment; AND;
%u2022 Possession of a current CPR and Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) card at the time of application, which must be maintained throughout employment.
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
%u2022 Nursing experience in correctional, psychiatric, geriatric, cardiac care, and emergency settings.
%u2022 Ability to project a professional image.
%u2022 Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
%u2022 Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
%u2022 Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
%u2022 Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
%u2022 Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
