Description

Sterling Heights Assisted Living is looking for congenial, professional, hard-working, and reliable individual to fill our available full-time Med Tech/Caregiver positions for NOC shift.

Schedule/hours: 9:00 p.m. - 5:30 a.m.

Wage: $15.50 / hr starting ($14.50 $1 for NOC shift)

The Med Techs will be responsible for the daily medication management and care of our residents. Most training is provided when hired!

Interested applicants must be able to pass a background check, health and drug test screening.

MED TECH'S DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administer medication and treatment as assigned with the scope of practice;

Maintain accurate, complete and confidential resident medication and care records, according to established procedure and charts;

Keep med carts orderly, clean and appropriately stocked;

Monitors self-medication program of residents when ordered by the physician;

Communicates as needed with doctors, families and other appropriate parties concerning resident's status, need for an appointment, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS/SPECIFICATIONS:

Well groomed, cheerful and enthusiastic;

Age 18 or older;

Enjoys working with the elderly;

Able to perform frequent lifting or less than or equal to 50 lbs;

Must deal with the public, visitors and residents and in a tactful manner;

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

High School graduate or equivalent GED;

Valid First Aid certification;

Valid CPR certification;

Experience is a plus but not necessary.
