Description
Outpatient rehab at BHC is seeking a dynamic, professional speech pathologist to joint our multidisciplinary staff. The Speech Pathologist will provide services that identify, prevent and rehabilitate speech, language, cognition, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. Such therapy encompasses evaluation and analysis of patients and treatment and instruction to patient/family to maximize functional independence. All treatment is in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations. In addition to general administrative, safety, and educational duties, the Speech Pathologist:
- Performs speech-language evaluations and screens.
- Performs Speech Pathology treatment planning and implementation. Plans, implements and modifies age-appropriate ST program.
- Provides education, instruction and feedback to the patient/family and appropriate others as necessary.
