Waterman Canyon Post-Acute is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our growing healthcare team. In this position, you will work with a multidisciplinary health care team to provide exemplary care, monitor health conditions, oversee staff and administer medications. Extensive medical knowledge, as well as a compassionate, positive, hard-working attitude, is a must.

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsible for overseeing LVN%u2019s and CNA%u2019s.

Responsible for the care of residents by initiating treatment plans and administering medications.

Prepare IVs, draw blood, give injections.

Use clinical expertise to monitor the health of the resident population and ensure proper cares.

Admit and discharge residents.

Interact with the resident's family by reporting any changes in the resident's health or living situation.

Report clinical findings to Physicians and appropriate team members.

Qualifications and Skills

Current California Registered Nursing license in good standing

Experience in a skilled nursing or acute setting preferred
