Description

Aurora Senior Living of Norwalk is a 150 bed skilled nursing facility in located in Norwalk, CT. We have an immediate opening for a Unit Manager. The Unit Manager coordinates the clinical management of residents on an assigned long-term care unit. She/he assists in the resident care planning process and oversees implementation of the plan to assure that appropriate clinical outcomes are met for all residents. In addition, she/he provides direction to the clinical staff on their assigned unit to ensure that the quality, safety, and appropriateness of care are maintained.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (RN program)

Previous long term care nursing with demonstrated competence in the clinical setting.

Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Connecticut.

Valid/Current CPR certification (required within two months of employment).
