Description

Aurora Senior Living of East Hartford is a 145 bed skilled nursing facility in located in East Hartford, CT. We have an immediate opening for a RN Unit Manager. The Unit Manager coordinates the clinical management of residents on an assigned long-term care unit. She/he assists in the resident care planning process and oversees implementation of the plan to assure that appropriate clinical outcomes are met for all residents. In addition, she/he provides direction to the clinical staff on their assigned unit to ensure that the quality, safety, and appropriateness of care are maintained.

Required:

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (RN program)

Experience: Previous long term care nursing with demonstrated competence in the clinical setting. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats.

Certification, Licensure and/or Registration: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Connecticut. Valid/Current CPR certification (required within two months of employment).
