Description

We are seeking an experienced supervisor with strong assessment and customer service skills.

RN/LPN Supervisor Qualifications :

%u2022Holds and maintains current License or Registration in accordance with State Regulations.

%u20222 years' Long Term/Geriatric/Rehabilitation education or care experience preferred.

%u2022Acute hospital medical/surgical experience desirable.

%u2022Knowledge of nursing theory and practice including the administration of medications.

%u2022Holds and maintains current CPR certification in accordance with Nursing Standards of Practice.

%u2022Supervisor/Management experience of licensed nursing staff/nursing assistants

%u2022Experience with admissions/assessment process

RN/LPN Supervisor Specific requirements:

%u2022Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

%u2022Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, patients/residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.

%u2022Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.

%u2022Must be willing to work harmoniously with professionals and non-professional personnel.

%u2022Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult patients/residents.

%u2022Must be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices
