Description
The speech-language pathologist is responsible for implementation of standards of care for speech language pathology services in the home and to adhere to the conditions of participation as set by Medicare guidelines. This includes cognitive retraining, dysphagia, and other neurologic deficits. The SLP will work closely with the other clinicians to provide an interdisciplinary approach to treating patients in the home.
