Sterling Heights Independent and Assisted Living is looking for a congenial, professional, hard-working, and reliable individual to fill our available full-time Wellness Assistant position.

Wage: $15.50-$17.00 / hr

Weekend availability required!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist the Wellness Director in assessing the medication administration and care needs of residents.

Serve as a liaison between community, residents%u2019 family and appropriate medical personnel.

Actively assist in the development of the resident medication administration and resident care service plans and assures the staff provides the needed medication care per service plan.

Participate in service plan assessment meeting, as needed and update service plans accordingly.

Assist with Audit the Medication Administration record on a monthly basis and document findings, providing a copy to the administration.

Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

-Age 21 or older.

-Proficient in using Microsoft Office Programs and ability to operate standard office equipment.

-Maintain current First Aid certification and CPR certification.

-Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend the English Language.
